The owners of Live the Dream have taken holidays and worked all over the world and while there are many destinations that offer many different things and are very nice we always found ourselves coming back to Thailand and especially a small island called Koh Samui.
When a Thai person said to us on our first trip to Thailand “you will come back soon everyone does” we did not realise at the time how often we would return and how much it had touched our hearts. It’s a place that has something for everyone and for us it is a special place. They call Thailand the land of smiles and its difficult to not become a better person when you are in Thailand.
My family bought our own villa in Koh Samui several years ago and have never looked back. Its was one of the best decisions we ever made. We have stayed in many hotels but with our children we found the best holidays we had were when we booked a villa holiday. It allowed us to do what we wanted, when we wanted and gave us the privacy we needed to be able to chill out. I think villa holidays suit us best. Or maybe you are thinking of buying to use on holidays and rent it the rest of the time as an investment. Whatever your reasons there are good reasons to make Thailand your first or second home.
